Our team's top priority is to deliver orthodontics in a friendly, comfortable environment. Our team members are committed to helping our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted. We regularly conduct training sessions and attend continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest information available to our profession. Getting to know you and your family and meeting your individual orthodontic needs are our foremost concerns.

Board Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Thames is a board certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists. Currently, only 35% of orthodontists are board certified.
Board certification is a voluntary examination process aimed at demonstrating an orthodontist's pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.
Dr. Thames obtained a master's degree in orthodontics in addition to his specialty certificate by completing additional orthodontic research during his residency.

Office Features

Dr. Thames uses computerized patient education software to explain diagnoses and describe treatment plans. We utilize digital radiography, digital photography, and even digital models upon request. This allows us to explain diagnoses in a visual format. Computers are located at each treatment chair which gives Dr. Thames the ability to quickly access all of your orthodontic records. You can even monitor your progress by viewing before and after images.

Fun

Yes, orthodontics can be fun! We understand that orthodontics is not always considered "fun" so we have attempted to change that thinking by providing more than just orthodontics. We provide our patients with the following during treatment time: contests for patients to enter, theme weeks, and rewards for good brushing and flossing. We are a friendly team who love what we do and desire the best for the patients and families we serve!
